Many Aboriginal people believe that the crocodile is connected to the afterlife.  Aboriginal people paint to describe important events and people, to record Country, seasons, timelines, and connections between people and crocodiles are often recorded. Crocodiles and their eggs are an important food source but can only be eaten by certain clans.
